This award was constituted by past president of Nepal Horticulture Society (NHS) Mr. Shiva Bahadur Nepali Pradhan in 2008 to recognize the meritous achievement of post graduate students in horticulture. This award was initially conferred to top student of MSc (Horticulture) of Tribuvan University and later in 2020, top student of MSc (Horticulture) of Agriculture and Forestry was also included.

Prize money and Certificate:It carries a cash award of NPR 10,000 and a merit certificate.
Eligibility: Students of Tribuvan University and Agriculture and Forestry University, Nepal who topped their batch in MSc (Horticulture).

Application procedure: Apply to Nepal Horticulture Society with attached copy from respective Dean stating that the candidate has topped the batch with CGPA score and year.
Call for submission of application: November. The special notice will be available on our notice board every year.
Deadline for submission of application: December
