Abstract

The pot experiment was conducted under colour galvanized Iron sheet (CGIS) roof in the agriculture college of Purbanchal university, Morang to study the effect of organic manure and chemical fertilizer on growth and yield of Marigold cv. Goldsmith. In this experiment five doses of fertilizer (namely: Farm yard Manure, Poultry manure, Goat manure each of 450 g/pot, control and NPK @ 3.1:2:1.4 g/plot) was added in pot. All the growth parameter (plant height, number of branches and stem diameter) and yield parameter (number of flower, total flower and unopened flower bud per plant) was recorded.
